Music

The school uses the award-winning music curriculum Charanga, which covers singing, playing instruments and performing, listening and appraising music and many exciting musical activities.


The school also works with Mike Simpson, musician, composer and author and his award-winning, Inspire Works company, which delivers world-music workshops.

Steel Drums

Children of all ages learned on authentic steel pans to create an ensemble for our Summer Fair.

 

Indonesian Gamelan

Children used authentic 30-player Balinese or 30-player Javanese gamelan instruments and were introduced to Indonesian music and culture. 

 

Brazilian Samba Drumming

The deep pounding surdo drums with the syncopated over-layered sounds comprised of an assortment of percussive instruments created an amazing carnival sound that transported the children to Rio de Janeiro!


The Royal Albert Hall

The School is a regular visitor to one of London's most iconic venues.

Prom Praise for Schools

For 20 years, Prom Praise for Schools (PP4S) has invited schools from all over London, and beyond, to come together in this exceptional interactive, educational event.
Led by All Souls Orchestra, under the direction of conductor Noël Tredinnick, PP4S is a joint project between All Souls Orchestra and the London Diocesan Board for Schools.
It is a child-friendly version of the Orchestra’s outstanding Prom Praise event which fills the Royal Albert Hall every year.

 
 

O2 Arena

The School also regularly takes part in one of the largest children's choirs at the O2 Arena.

Young Voices

Young Voices stages the largest children's choir concerts in the world with thousands of children performing as a single choir to sell-out audience of family and friends.

Their music is specially selected to create a diverse musical repertoire all with the intention to introduce children to the widest possible spectrum of music.

 
 

Christmas Specials

Each Christmas, the whole school is involved in delivering a theatrical performance to tell the Christmas story.

Productions are held at The Old Court in Windsor, previously known as The Fire Station.
